Jay Karnes of the television hit show The Shield portrays Brutus in Marin Shakespeare Company's Julius Caesar.

This action-packed story of some of Rome's greatest personalities explores loyalty and ambition, politics and personality, and contains some of Shakespeare's most memorable orations.

The production is presented outdoors in the Forest Meadows Amphitheatre in San Rafael. Barry Kraft stars in the title role, with William Elsman as Mark Antony.
