Synopsis
A play about race, law enforcement and east bay celebrity in Oakland, USA.
A veteran police officer is determined to change himself and the neighborhood he fought the Black Panthers 30 years ago. He buys an old Oakland bar with a single pool table on Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, and hangs photos above the bar of Martin Luther King Jr. and Little Bobby Hutton, a 16-year old Black Panther who died in a shoot-out with police. Many avoid the bar, derisively referred to as the 'Entrapment.' A young man named Cash braves the bar and slowly befriends the officer. In Cash, the veteran officer Paul sees the logical heir of Little Bobby Hutton and tries to get Cash to respond to that legacy by making something new of his life. As Paul attempts to control a young man's purpose, the people from Paul's past reappear and demand justice for his abandonment of his family and sworn duty.
