Synopsis
Presented in repertory, Henry IV, Parts 1 & 2 follows the reign of King Henry and the ascension of his son, Prince Hal.
In Part 1, King Henry's rule is under attack - so why is Prince Hal hanging out in the Boar's Head Tavern with that rascally, drunken, lying, fat man, Falstaff?
In Part 2, Hal tries to make peace with his dying father while Falstaff and a host of outrageous lowlife characters prepare to riotously celebrate the new king's ascension.
SUPER SATURDAY EVENTS: Marin Shakespeare Company presents a rare opportunity to enjoy the two great Falstaff plays performed in repertory. Super Saturday Events, presented on Aug. 25, Sept. 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, features Henry IV, Part I at 4 p.m., followed by dinner catered by Bryan's Fine Foods, with music for dining, and Henry IV, Part II at 8 p.m. Catered dinner is $30 per person. Play ticket & beverages not included.
