Helluva Night Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Helluva Night is a double bill consisting of two crirically aclaimed one act shows: No Exit amd Tape.
No Exit: - "...Powerfully interesting piece of theater--one that sends creeps down its audience's spine at the same time it prods their intellect." -East Bay Express.
Three damned souls are brought to the same room in hell by a mysterious Valet. As they expect medieval torture devices to punish them for eternity, they eventually realize that the punishment is going be far more cruel and unusual. Three of them are forced to confront and interrogate each other in this hell of a game where at the end the main torture may be facing your own true self. (running time 1h.20min)
Tape: Action is set entirely in Motel 6 room in Lansing, Michigan rented by Vince, a ill-tempered, outgoing party animal/drug dealer who's visited by his old high school friend Jon, a documentary filmmaker, where they pass the time reminiscing about the good old times which take a turn when Vince records their conversation with Jon admitting to a possible date-rape of Vince's old girlfriend Amy, who later shows up and opens up a new wave of talk and arguments about whose story is fact or fabricated.
"Fascinating and entertaining...a terrific play...Real talk, real characters, real situations--a real play." --NY Post
"Tape is a sordid and beautiful take on human relationships." --Show Business Weekly (running time 1hour)
