Carol Channing
Carol Channing Tickets and Information
Synopsis
One of Lowell High School's better-known graduates -- Carol Channing -- is coming back to town to headline the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus' Giving Back concert on Feb. 25. And she's sharing the stage with Carol Channing impersonator Richard Skipper!
This is Channing's first performance since a recent accident which caused a broken thumb, arm and ribs and a chipped shoulder. Also sharing the bill with Channing will be actor Wilson Cruz, the Barbary Coast Cloggers, Allyson Larkin, Sharon McNight, and the cast of the New Conservatory Theatre's Carole King revue, Tapestry.
The concert will be a tribute to youth, benefitting a variety of organizations, including the Larkin Street Youth Services, Lavender Youth Recreation and Information Center, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network and the
chorus itself.
The top price gets you admission to a preconcert reception and priority seating. All ticket holders are invited to a post-concert reception with the cast.
