Donna McKechnie to Star in 42nd Street Moon's Ira Gershwin Salon

Tony Award winner Donna McKechnie will star in Nice Work If You Can Get it!, 42nd Street Moon's prelude to its multi-year salute to the shows of Ira Gershwin. The program will be presented at the Alcazar Theatre on Thursday, January 28 at 7pm.

This evening will feature songs written with his brother George as well as Harold Arlen, Kurt Weill, Jerome Kern, Vernon Duke, and others.

McKechnie was recently featured in Broadway by the Bay's Cy Coleman salute. She is best known for originating the role of Cassie in A Chorus Line, for which she won a Tony Award. Her other Broadway credits include Company, On the Town, and State Fair.
