Susan Anton, Tyne Daly, John Lloyd Young, et al. Set for Help Is On the Way Benefit

Revised casting has been announced for Help Is On the Way: No Business Like Show Business, a 15th anniversary gala designed to raise funds for Bay Area AIDS service provider agencies. The event will be held at the Herbst Theatre, on August 2.

Performers will include Susan Anton, Jim Bailey (as Judy Garland), BaulPoint Pen (Ben McLain and Paul Peglar), Carole Cook, Tyne Daly, Melinda Doolittle, Joely Fisher, Maureen McVerry, Shawn Ryan, Jeanie Tracy, Wesla Whitfield, John Lloyd Young, and the cast of Top Shelf's Motown Madness.

The evening will begin with a silent auction at 5pm in the Main Lobby, with a VIP reception in the Green Room. A gala reception will then be held in the Green Room at 6pm, followed by the performance at 7:30pm. A post-show dessert party will be held in the Green Room at 10 pm. Honorary co-chairs for the event will include Senator Mark Leno, Mayor Gavin Newsom, and San Francisco Treasurer Jose Cisneros.
