Theatre Rhinoceros has announced the three pieces — and two special events — that will be part of its 2010-2011 season, which will begin with John Fisher’s adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, to run August 26 – September 19 at the Eureka Theatre.

Also on the theater’s schedule is an all-male production of the Stephen Sondheim revue Marry Me a Little, which will run February 2-20 at the Eureka. Next spring, Fisher will direct his script Fighting Mac! (June 2-26, Thick House), which is based on the true story of Major General Sir Hector Macdonald, one of England’s greatest generals, who also happened to be gay.

Rounding out the Rhino’s schedule will be The 2010 Marga Gomez New Year’s Eve Spectacular, which will be presented for two shows on December 31 at the Victoria Theatre and will also feature Natasha Muse and DJ O DJ, as well as Suzanne Westenhoefer: The Totally Inappropriate tour, to play April 8-9 at the Victoria.
