Tony Award winner Idina Menzel will perform with the San Francisco Symphony at Davies Symphony Hall, on Friday, July 9 at 8pm.

Menzel won a Tony for Best Actress in a Musical for originating the role of Elphaba in Wicked. She also received a Tony nomination for playing Maureen in Rent, a role she recreated for the 2005 film version. She also appeared in the London concert version of Chess, and starred in the Off-Broadway musical The Wild Party. She also co-starred in the Oscar-nominated film Enchanted and will be seen later this season in the hit TV series Glee.
