WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The Bay Area's newest alternative theatre, Brookside Repertory Theatre, winner Best Collected Shorts at the 2003 San Francisco Fringe Festival, returns to the Fringe with their latest offering, Tilting at Transformations, directed by Chela Noto. Featuring two season subscribers who (gasp) leave at intermission, a sexy Hebrew slave, a superhero who comes unglued, an IRS auditor with a heart, and a mystery involving missing middles from Oreo cookies, these five fun, oddball, and often offbeat short plays highlight the diverse, and often perverse, new work by some of the Bay Area's finest talents.

Tilting at Transformations features We Couldn't Do It Without Our Subscribers by Molly Rhodes, Joseph and Potiphor's Wife by Mae Ziglin Meidav, Myopic Viscosity by Bill Bivins, Nelson by Edna Coulson Hall, and That's the Way the Cookie Crumbles by Patricia Milton.
