An enchanting cousin to Thornton Wilder's Our Town, Theophilus North is based on Wilder's autobiographical novel and adapted by Matthew Burnett. Seeking a life-changing adventure in 1926 New England, a young teacher finds his Model T broken down in elegant Newport, Rhode Island. Working odd jobs for the wealthy, he finds purpose in the prosaic and inadvertently changes the lives of everyone he meets. Wilder's wry humor and folksy philosophy highlight this celebration of the American spirit.
