Aurora Theatre Company presents The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek, a drama from the award-winning playwright Naomi Wallace. Set in the years of the Great Depression, the play follows the story of Dalton, a 15-year-old who dreams of escaping to attend college and the town's 17-year-old tomboy, Pace. Stuck in a dead-end town with no real prospects, the pair prepares to play a deadly contest of chicken with the daily express train - trying to run the length of the trestle before the rushing tons of steel can reach them.
