This production currently at ACT San Francisco is truly outstanding and not to be missed. "The Normal Heart" is one of the most important plays of the past fifty years, and has new relevance given the rise of TEA PARTY values in our country. Human rights and science need to be championed and valued. "Silence" still "equals death" if people are complacent. The ensemble cast delivers incredible depth and life that brought the audience to it's feet after moving all of us to tears. Patrick Breen brings such truth, passion and conviction, you will never forget him. Matt Mc Grath captures the complexity, tenderness and vulnerability of Felix, a New York Times fashion reporter. Michael Baressa's on stage nervous breakdown is amazing. Go!
