The iconic Meredith Willson musical, The Music Man, is one of the most popular and well-known pieces in the history of the American Musical Theater. It features a huge cast of all ages and many songs that are part of our cultural heritage, like "Gary, Indiana," "Till There Was You," and "Seventy-Six Trombones." Fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize - this despite the fact he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian.

Come early and enjoy a picnic, a walk in Joaquin Miller Park, and the beautiful bay views with your family. As the sun sets, take your seats in the outdoor theater and enjoy an evening of music and magic under the stars.

Groups of 25 or more can purchase blocks of tickets for half price. Our "Kids Come Free" program offers free tickets to kids who attend with paying adults.
