WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Exit Theatre presents the 10th annual San Francisco Fringe Festival, a pot-luck feast of eclectic live performance and independent theater culture. Ranging from zany and inexplicable to introspective and intimate, the festival is an 11-day non-stop schedule of theatrical happenings in San Francisco's downtown Union Square theater district.
Ten shows from the best of the Fringe are held over one weekend (September 28, 29) to provide a sampler of the San Francisco Fringe Festival 2001.
All Fringe theaters are located in downtown San Francisco:
EXIT Theatre, 156 Eddy Street
EXIT Stage Left, 156 Eddy Street
EXIT on Taylor, 277 Taylor Street
Phoenix II, 655 Geary Street
Phoenix II (downstairs), 653 Geary Street
