WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Palo Alto Players present Jonathan Larson's rock musical Rent. Based loosely on on Puccini's opera La Bohème, Rent follows the lives and passions of seven young New Yorkers, living a bohemian lifestyle and struggling with matters ranging from poverty to drug addiction and AIDS. The show was one of the biggest hits in the history of Broadway.
