Over a decade ago Eve Ensler's sensational hit, The Vagina Monologues, revolutionized society's views of the female body. Women everywhere were empowered to shed light on their personal stories of challenge, despair, and triumph. Enlisting the talents of various female artists across the country, Boxcar's Project V offers an updated perspective on the monologues that shook a nation and changed the world. Her original text will be presented alongside new interpretations based on the same theme. From sketch comedy to improv, music to dance, stand-up comedy to the international perspective, Ensler's work stands the test of time with fresh new twist. **On Sunday February 14th all the female company members of Boxcar Theatre will present The Vagina Monologues in its entirety as a part of the national V Day celebration. All proceeds go to V-Day, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to ending violence against women and girls.
