WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Against the busy preparations for the labor day picnic in small town Kansas, a handsome drifter wanders into the lives of six seemingly ordinary women, stirring all that simmers under a waning summer sun. This signature work by William Inge, the Pulitzer Prize winning poet of the rural Midwest, paints a rich human landscape to haunt the heart.
