WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Partition combines realistic scenes of a life of study at Cambridge with mystical visions of East Indian goddesses and mathematical icons. The natural genius and unrelenting passion of the turn-of-the-century Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan come to life in this new work by playwright Ira Hauptman. Barbara Oliver directs.
