WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Our Lady of 121st Street by Stephen Adly Guirgis, receives a West Coast premiere. When a group of former schoolmates gather, 15 years later, to attend the funeral of the beloved Sister Rose, they learn that her body has been stolen. As they wait for the outcome of this sordid crime, the vibrant characters unearth memories, seek forgiveness, and re-forge splintering relationships. Their fiery yet subtle interactions form the heart of this stirring dark comedy by Stephen Adly Guirgis, one of theater's most celebrated up-and-coming playwrights.
