Never Far from the Tree follows a family as it jumps through time while trying to come to terms with its past, present and future. The actions of the parents echo through the lives of the children. Like peas in a pod, like birds of a feather, or like the House of Atreus - no nuclear family reacts the same. Laura Ellen Smith directs this play by San Francisco resident Dave Garrett.
