WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In 1997, Marilyn Pittman's identity as a stand-up comic, UC Berkeley educator and NPR talent consultant was shattered by the sudden murder-suicide of her parents.
Pittman, a well-known Bay Area comic, has a knack for mining humor out of dark truths. The show, at once murder mystery and survival tale, is both uproariously funny and heartbreakingly sad.
