WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
John O'Keefe's adaptation of Walt Whitman's Song of Myself a lyrical solo work exploring the intersection between speech and music and between the individual soul and the world surrounding it. "Simply put, Song of Myself is a poetic and dramatic tour de force. . . a rare joy to witness," said Todd Carlstro of nytheatre.com after witnessing the world premiere at New York's Public Theater earlier this year.
