WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Want to: 1. learn how to AVOID parking tickets in SF. 2. guess the killer before the protagonist does in this brand new play about murder, traffic court and dentistry. 3. laugh a lot. Then Jerry Levitin's new comedy-mystery-whodunit I'd kill for a Parking Place is just for you. Highly regarded among his peers, Levitin had a successful criminal law practice in San Francisco before presiding over San Francisco Traffic Court for six years, adjudicating more then 200,000 protests. His experience inspires much of the action in this new play about -- not so surprisingly -- a Traffic Judge. After a series of killings, a new homicide detective seeks advice from an experienced criminal attorney, now a Traffic Judge only to find that the Judge may be the murderer. The usual suspects aren't so usual in this intricate plot of twists and turns with lots of comedy and a surprise ending. Peter DeMaio directs.
