WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In Gizmo, playwright Anthony Clarvoe (Show and Tell, Pick Up Ax) wrestles with the topic of technology today. This new play was inspired by Karel Capek's play R.U.R. (or Rossum's Universal Robots); considered the first science fiction play, it was written in 1921 and introduced the world to the word "robot."
