With his first play, UCLA-graduate Mathew Barber struck a homerun with this romantic comedy sensation. The toast of the 2003 Broadway season, Enchanted April captured the John Cassner Award for Outstanding New American Play, and Tony, Outer Critics Circle and Drama League nominations for Best Play. This beloved romantic adventure, based on Elizabeth Von Armin's novel, follows four Englishwomen who escape their cloudy and dreary lives - and marriages - to embark on a bold and life-changing journey to Tuscany.
