From the world of jazz, Ms. Laine frequently pays tribute to the unforgettable music of Duke Ellington. Of course, no Cleo Laine program would be complete without a sprinkling of her famous Shakespeare settings, some of them by her late husband Sir John Dankworth. Ms. Laine is thrilled to return to San Francisco to once again delight her fans with warm memories from a passing age in music and an iconic voice that has moved generations.
