WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Using multiple story-lines, and a non-linear narrative Crucifixion, by Terrence McNally, explores the interconnectedness between us all within the social networks of family, faith, and community. When a Los Angeles television producer is murdered in a New York hotel room by a Jesuit priest, the eleven characters in the play explore the events that led up to the incident. The planned, spontanous, and random connections among this group intersect to form a labyrinth of relationships, secrets, and revelations that span from New York to San Francisco to Los Angeles.

Deftly staged by Ed Decker, this is a brand-new play that McNally still considers a work in progress. As the title suggests, it's about the Catholic faith. But it's also about being gay and having great sex and coupling that sex with faith. More importantly, it concerns the relationships we have in our daily lives and the connective tissue that binds us together.
