From one of the nation's premiere choreographers comes a new dramatic investigation of the deep unspoken knowledge that lies within the body. Using both actors and dancers, Joe Goode explores the interior drama of ordinary people in commonplace situations. A lady in the supermarket with a long cigarette, pushing her shopping cart full of kids, might be having a life-changing experience at the checkout stand. At this painful and precarious moment in our history, Body Familiar asks us to take an unflinching look at each other without fear.There are no shows Jan 20 through Jan 27. There are additional performances on Sunday, Jan 19 at 7:30 pm, Tuesday, Jan 28 at 8 pm, Saturday, Feb 1 at 2:30 pm, and Sunday, Feb 2 at 7:30 pm.
