WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The OOPS GUYS, the internationally-touring comedy act, brings their smash hit comedy spoof of lounge singers Asian Sings the Blues to the Eureka Theatre as part of the 2004 San Francisco Sketch Comedy Festival. The critically-acclaimed evening of musical sketch features Filipino funnyman Fiely A. Matias, the self-proclaimed gay diva of bad cabaret, as he rifles through his off-beat songbook of original tunes about vengeance, love triangles, fetishes, stalking and fag hags. As always, melody-mangler Matias is accompanied by his neurotic side-kick Dennis T. Giacino, the comedy composer who writes the songs that make the whole world cringe. Together, the bad boys of musical sketch send-up self-involved lounge acts in what the Seattle Gay News hails will make you "laugh so hard you nearly wet your pants!"
