Joe Mantello directs Marc Wolf's one-man show, which examines the dilemmas faced by gays and lesbians in the U.S. military. Another American: Asking and Telling was created from Wolf's interviews with military personnel ranging from WWII veterans to members of today's armed forces. The New Conservatory Theatre Center presents the West Coast premiere of this powerful tour of sexual politics, the American military, sanctioned discrimination and its human fall out.
Immediately following the 2pm matinee on August 6, there will be a panel discussion on the US Military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. The discussion is included with the price of admission.
