Veteran substitute teacher and uber-schlepper Steven Karwoski turns uber-shepherd and trades slinging hash for dodging spitballs. In this high-energy performance, Karwoski battles evil administrators, spars with his fourteen year old alter ego -- William the Conquer -- and discovers the special in Special Ed. Karwoski mines his nine years experience substitute teaching and developed Adventures of a Substitute Teacher at San Francisco's LABORFEST last summer and then toured the Winnipeg Fringe Festival July 2004 and The Rogue Festival 2005.

Besides offering audiences a glimpse into the harsh and yet often hilarious realities of the Public School System this autobiographic tale also explores the theme of unachieved dreams.
