Derek Smith, Jelani Remy and More to Perform in SHN’s The Lion King

Casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Disney’s The Lion King at the SHN Orpheum Theatre, November 1-January 13.

The production will star Derek Smith (Scar), Dionne Randolph (Mufasa), Buyi Zama (Rafiki), Mark David Kaplan (Zazu), Ben Lipitz (Pumbaa), Nick Cordileone (Timon), Jelani Remy (Simba), Syndee Winters (Nala), Keith Bennett as (Banzai), Rashada Dawan (Shenzi), and Robbie Swift (Ed).

In addition, the role of Young Simba is alternated between Zavion J. Hill and Adante Power and the role of Young Nala is alternated between Sade Phillip-Demorcy and Kailah McFadden.
