Marin Theatre Company Announces Cast for Glass Menagerie

In celebration of the centennial of American playwright Tennessee Williams’ birth, Marin Theatre Company will present his iconic play The Glass Menagerie, November 25-December 18. Jasson Minadakis will direct.

Set in 1930’s Saint Louis,The Glass Menagerie paints an emotionally devastating portrait of hope. Aspiring poet Tom Wingfield dreams of adventure while reluctantly supporting his overbearing mother Amanda and painfully shy sister Laura. Pushed by his mother, he brings home a gentleman caller to try and coax his sister from her fragile, private world.

The production will feature Bay Area actors Anna Bullard, Craig Marker and Nicholas Pelczar with Sherman Fracher making her area debut in the celebrated role of Amanda Wingfield. The Glass Menagerie will also feature musician and actor Andrew Wilke playing live trumpet accompaniment.
