The season will kick off with the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Hairspray, April 5-22. Next, Broadway By The Bay will present the hit off-Broadway musical The Marvelous Wonderettes, July 12-29, followed by A Chorus Line, September 20-October 7. The 2012 season closes with the return of Broadway By The Year, November 8-11, a musical and historical snapshot of Broadway. This year's Broadway By The Year will highlight songs from the Broadway shows of 1965's Man of La Mancha and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever and 1997's The Lion King, Jekyll and Hyde, and Titanic.

Folena will be joining the company fresh from directing the upcoming production of Gypsy. She takes over for Brooke Knight, who is retiring at the end of the current season after 18 years.
