Full Cast Set for Broadway By the Bay’s Into the Woods

Full casting has been announced for Broadway By the Bay’s revival of Stephen Sondheim’s musical comedy, Into the Woods, to play the San Mateo Performing Arts Center September 18-October 5. Brooke Knight will direct, with musical direction by Rick Reynolds.

The musical is a whimsical look at our most beloved fairy tales and what happens after “happily ever after.” What begins as a lively irreverent fantasy becomes a moving lesson about community responsibility and the stories we tell our children.

The cast will feature Paul Araquistain as The Baker, Nick Balian as Jack, Evan J. Boomer as Rapunzel’s Prince, Elise Marie Cordle as The Witch, Marc Jacobs as the Narrator/Mysterious Man, Mindy Lym as Cinderella, Brittany Ogle as Rapunzel, Lee Ann Payne as The Baker’s Wife, Alanna Pinell as Little Red Riding Hood, and David Sattler as Rapunzel’s Prince and The Wolf.
