Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the Tony-nominated composing duo behind Broadway’s A Christmas Story, will make their San Francisco debut with two performances at Feinstein’s, the legendary nightclub at the Nikko Hotel.

The two performances they have scheduled will take place Friday, July 19 at 8pm and Saturday, July 20 at 7pm. The Saturday performance will feature special guest stars Alex Newell, who portrays the cross-dressing Unique on Fox’s hit TV series “Glee,” and Anneliese Van der Pol, best known for her role on Raven-Symoné’s Disney Channel series “That’s So Raven.”

Pasek and Paul will perform their own work, featuring songs from this past season’s Tony Award-nominated A Christmas Story, the Lucille Lortel Award-winning Dogfight, as well numbers they composed for season two of NBC’s “Smash.” The pair will also include songs from their Goodspeed musical James & the Giant Peach as well as various numbers from their burgeoning songbook while offering stories that offer insight on each of the selections.
