Lamplighters Music Theatre will present never-before-seen footage from the 1929 original London production of Noël Coward’s operetta, Bitter Sweet, at the Musem of Performance & Design on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:00 pm.

Cast members from the Lamplighters production of Bitter Sweet will perform selections from the score, which includes such classic romantic ballads as “I’ll See You Again,” and “If Love Were All.” The screening is part of the current exhibition at the museum, Star Quality: The World of Noël Coward, on view through August 29, 2009. The exhibition is filled with rare photographs, original memorabilia, costumes, and audio and video documenting the life and career of Coward.
