Full cast information has been announced for the TheaterWorks production of John Patrick Shanley’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play, Doubt, A Parable, July 16-August 10. This production will be co-directed by Vickie Rozell and Robert Kelley.

In the play, Sister Aloysius thinks her students should not be pampered, while Father Flynn believes that the clergy should be thought of as a member of the family. When she suspects Father Flynn of misconduct, these two schools of thought come into direct conflict.

The cast will feature Cassidy Brown as Father Flynn, Kimberly King as Sister Aloysius, Kristin Stokes as Sister James, and Tamikya White as Mrs. Muller.

Shanley won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the 2005 Tony Award for Best Play, and several more honors for Doubt. His other plays include Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Four Dogs and a Bone, and Defiance. A director and screenwriter as well as a playwright, Shanley won an Academy Award and a Writers Guild of America Award for his screenplay for Moonstruck.
