Ray Chambers and Robert Sicular to Star in Bill W. and Dr. Bob at San Jose Rep

San Jose Rep has announced casting for its upcoming production of Samuel Shem and Janet Surrey’s Bill W. and Dr. Bob, to run June 21-July 15. Richard Seer will direct.

The play follows two dynamic and dedicated men who, in the midst of their battle with acute and debilitating alcoholism, formed a formidable and historic alliance to help each other and others combat the same addiction.

The cast will be led by Ray Chambers as Bill W. and Robert Sicular as Dr. Bob. They will be joined by Carrie Paff (Lois), Rachel Harker (Lois), Kandis Chappell (Anne), Cindy Goldfield, and Mike Ryan.

The design team will include Robin Sanford Roberts (set design), Cathleen Edwards (costume design), Trevor Norton (lighting design), Paul Peterson (sound design), and Dave Maier (fight coordination).
