Billy Elliot, Next to Normal, Shrek and More Part of 2010-2011 Best of Broadway Series in S.F.

The lineup of touring productions that will comprise the 2010-2011 SHN Best of Broadway series in San Francisco has been announced.

The series will open with Shrek the Musical, to run December 1 – January 2 at the Orpheum Theatre. Also on the schedule are the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal (January 25 – February 20, Curran Theatre), Rock of Ages (March 8 – April 3, Curran Theatre) and Blue Man Group (May 24 – June 19, Golden Gate Theatre). The season will conclude with Billy Elliot, which will begin performances September 13 at the Orpheum Theatre.
