Eric Owens and Laquita Mitchell to Star in San Francisco Opera’s Porgy and Bess

The San Francisco Opera will present Francesca Zambello’s production of Porgy and Bess at The War Memorial Opera House, June 9-June 27.

The show will star Eric Owens and Laquita Mitchell in the title roles, along with Michael Austin, Angel Blue, Michael Bragg, Alteouise deVaughn, Ashley Faatoalia, Richard Farrell, Eric Greene, Earl Hazell, Malesha Jessie, Louis Landman, Calvin Lee, Lester Lynch, Frederick Matthews, Samantha McElhaney, Amber Mercomes, John Minágro, Kenneth Overton, Chauncey Packer, Karen Slack, and Darren K.
