Plays by Sarah Ruhl, Lawrence Wright Added to Berkeley Rep’s 2012-2013 Season

Berkeley Repertory Theatre has announced that it has added a West Coast premiere by Sarah Ruhl and a world premiere of Lawrence Wright to its upcoming 2012-2013 season.

The world premiere of Wright’s Fallaci, which focuses on a reporter Oriana Fallaci and her life’s fascinating contradictions, will be directed by Gregory Mosher in March.

Bringing Berkeley Rep’s season to a close, Les Waters will direct the West Coast premiere of Ruhl’s Dear Elizabeth, a look at the bittersweet friendship between poets Elizabeth Bishop and Robert Lowell.
