Dan Hiatt to Star in TheatreWorks’ World Premiere Production of Laura Schellhardt’s Upright Grand

TheatreWorks is set to present the world premiere production of Laura Schellhardt’s Upright Grand, running July 11-August 10 at the Lucie Stern Theatre. Meredith McDonough will direct. Musical direction will be by William Liberatore.

Upright Grand is at once a poignant drama and a snappy comedy that explores the intricate dynamics of family relationships.

The cast will feature Dan Hiatt as Pops as well as with Renata Friedman (Kiddo) and Brett Ryback (The Accompanist).

The design team will include Kris Stone (set design), Jill Bowers (costume design), and Paul Toben (lighting design).
