Carole Shorenstein Hays and Robert Nederlander have announced the lineup of touring productions that will comprise the 2011-2012 SHN season to be offered at San Fracisco’s Orpheum, Curran and Golden Gate Theatres.

The series will open with Diane Paulus’ Tony Award-winning production of the classic rock musical Hair to run October 25 – November 20 at the Golden Gate Theatre.

At the Orpheum Theatre, the SHN series will include a tuneful look at the world of competitive cheerleading, Bring It On: The Musical (December 15 – January 7); Green Day’s American Idiot (June 12 – July 8, 2012), and the new 25th anniversary production of the epic Les Miserables (July 10 – August 5, 2012).

Jonathan Pryce will star in a revival of Harold Pinter’s The Caretaker, to run March 28 – April 12 at the Curran Theatre. In addition to this classic about two grown brothers, brain-damaged Aston and menacing Mick, who have their lives disrupted by a bad-tempered tramp (Pryce), the Curran will also host an engagement of the Tony Award-nominated War Horse (August 1-26, 2012).
