John Leguizamo to Present Klass Klown for Berkeley Rep’s Fireworks Festival

Emmy winner and Tony nominee John Leguizamo will present his new show, Klass Klown, June 1-12, as part of Berkeley Repertory Theatre‘s Fireworks, a new summer festival of solo performances, to run June 14 – July 3.

The autobiographically-based piece recounts stories and characters from Leguizamo’s adolescence in New York to the outrageous theatre scene of the ’80s to anecdotes about major movies and roles opposite Hollywood’s biggest stars.

As previously announced, Fireworks will also include An Evening with David Sedaris (June 14-20); Dan Hoyle’s The Real Americans (June 24-26) and Tings Dey Happen (June 30 – July 1); and Wes Nisker’s Crazy Wisdom Saves the World Again (July 2-3).
