Chaz Bono, Olympia Dukakis, The Trevor Project, et al. Among Grand Marshals for San Francisco Gay Pride Parade

Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis will be one of the celebrity grand marshals for San Francisco’s Gay Pride Parade, according to a report in the Bay Area Reporter. The event will be held on Sunday, June 26.

The other celebrity marshals include Chaz Bono and chef Yigit Pura. In addition, the community grand marshals will be soldier Aaron Belkin, judge Victoria Kolakowski, San Francisco’s chief deputy city attorney Therese “Terry” Stewart, Reverend Roland Stringfellow, and Graylin K. Thornton. A marshal who is being honored for lifetime achievement is Bishop Yvette Flunder, and San Francisco’s GLBT Historical Society and The Trevor Project are the organizations which will also serve as marshals.

Two individuals have been named honorary marshals as well: author Susie Bright and LGBT and AIDS activist Ron Wong.
