In this farcical comedy, an Arab-American actor is offered the lead in an upcoming hit film by Hollywood's most respected director. The actor wrestles with the promise of a leap to stardom and feeling as if he's betraying his family and culture if he takes on the part of a machine gun-strapping terrorist.

The cast will include Jessica Kitchens, Kamal Marashi, Mark Rafael Truitt, and Cat Thompson.

El Guindi's previous plays include Back of the Throat, Ten Acrobats in an Amazing Leap of Faith, and Acts of Desire. Routhier is Director of Artistic Development at Magic Theatre, and has directed several regional and Bay Area plays, including Monkey Room, The Bone Man of Benares, 70 Scenes of Halloween, Cartoon, and Opus.
