Wicked Touring Company to Present Wicked Rocks Benefit Cabaret at Segerstrom Center

The 2nd National Touring Company of Wicked has announced a March 21 performance of a benefit cabaret entitled Wicked Rocks, to be presented at Segerstrom Center for the Arts’ Founders Hall in Irvine. The tour will also be presented at the same venue, March 8 – April 3.

The cabaret will be a chance for performers to step out of their roles in the musical through different styles of music and dance and will feature a variety of principal and ensemble cast members. In addition, there will be a silent auction of items including Wicked memorabilia, and a live auction will give winning bidders several opportunities to join the company backstage at Segerstrom Hall, including a chance to bid on a walk-on role in Wicked.

Wicked Rocks is part of an ongoing series of performances by the touring company throughout the country to support charitable causes. The net proceeds of the event will benefit Aids Services Foundation Orange County (ASF) and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids (BC/EFA).
