The San Francisco Bay Area Critics Circle has announced the nominees for its 2010 Awards, which will be presented on April 4. The group will present awards in nearly 75 categories.
Nominated performers include Rene Augesen, Whitney Bashor, Klea Blackhurst, Hannah Cabell, David Cale, Charles Dean, Marga Gomez, Dan Hoyle, Geoff Hoyle, Bill Irwin, Josh Kornbluth, Seana McKenna, Deirdre O’Connell, Mandy Patinkin, Danny Scheie, and Jud Wiliford.
Other nominees in various categories include Todd Almond, Bill Cain, Oskar Eustis, Marcus Gardley, Jason Grote, Tarrell Alvin McCraney, Carey Perloff, Octavio Solis, Alejo Vietti, and Darron L. West.
SHN’s “Best of Broadway” series received four of the five nominations in the Touring Prouduction category for Dreamgirls, Shrek the Musical, West Side Story and Young Frankenstein, with Tone Poet Productions’ PIaf: Love Conquers All rounding out the nominees list.
